Optical Sales Engineer

• Responsibilities:

We are looking for an Optical Sales Engineer with imaging optics background to join our sales team.  You will work individually and with a team to increase OEM sales of digital imaging products and contribute to our growing marketing efforts.  Duties include: generate and manage sales leads, provide technical assistance, prepare quotations, perform follow-ups, negotiate and close sales.  Some domestic and overseas travel will be required. 

• Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Optics, Physics or related engineering field

  • Strong technical background in imaging optics and optical components

  • 2-3 years of sales/marketing experience in OEM sales

  • Must be ambitious and willing to grow, and be effective in a small company environment

  • Must have strong competitive drive, be a self starter, have high integrity, and be goal-oriented

Optical Design Engineer

• Position Description

  As a key member of our engineering team,  you will be responsible for creating new lens designs and modifying/improving existing designs.  You will also be responsible for interacting with our partners to conceive, generate and propose innovative optical solutions.  You will provide technical support and assistance to our China staff from development to mass production stage.  You will also perform evaluation and testing of optics.

   

• Qualifications

  • MS  in Optics or Physics 

  • 3-5 years of optical design experience using Zemax and CAD software.

  • Proven skill in zoom lens design

  • Strong communication skills
